Bedrooms

Chalet Pogo has 5 beautifully appointed bedrooms with king size beds, 4 of which can be separated into twins. Each bedroom been uniquely decorated and furnished with new and antique pieces from all over the world - Portobello Road and Welsh farmlands to French châteaus. All are equipped with fitted wardrobes, wooden hangers and plenty of storage space. There is even storage space under the bed!

The chalet and its bedrooms are deliberately whimsical, designed with a nod to alpine fantasy, inspired by Mind the Gap's Tyrol Après Ski Home Collection.

All bedrooms have their own ensuite bathrooms, with luxury bathroom fittings like the large pommeaux de douche shower heads from Margot, Art Deco inspired sanitary ware from Duravit and perfectly magnified make up and shaving mirrors from Miroir Brot - and of course compulsory fluffy white robes. Le Château's bathroom has a copper and nickel bath for added pampering. We supply complimentary beautifully fragranced natural and organic body washes and shampoos.
With luxury bedlinen, fabrics and decor from brands such as Samuel and Sons, Mantas Ezcaray and Johnstons of Elgin, together with incredibly detailed and sculptural light fittings from leading international lighting designers Vaughan, you'll be delighted to spend time just relaxing in your cosy and comfortable room after an energetic day in the mountains.

La Maison des Oiseaux
Overlooking the drive to the house, with double doors leading to a large balcony, our Oiseaux themed bedroom with its warm and cosy reds, blues and golds and Mind the Gap's beautiful "The Bird House" wallpaper, reminds us of the radiant colour of the birds that make the mountains their home. The luxury light fittings remind us of the branches on which they perch and, sometimes, those rare and special birds that share our house and our home.

La Forêt
With sliding doors that lead directly on to the garden, our ground floor bedroom, La Forêt, takes its inspiration from the green, gold and russet tones of the forests surrounding us. An antique elm washstand, bamboo 'antler' hangers, together with a pair of stunning Brantome "torchlight" lamps add to La Forêt's Tyrolean and alpine fantasy.

Le Cerf Bleu
With sunlight pouring in through it's two large windows in the bedroom and a further frosted window in the bathroom, Le Cerf Bleu defies it's below ground location. Sister to Le Cerf Rouge, our blue stag was visualised as being out in the forest at daylight, when the sun is coming up and the sky is beautifully golden, moments before becoming a bright and vivid mountain blue. We have left just enough space to maintain privacy whilst enjoying a hot shower looking out at the trees.

Le Cerf Rouge
In Le Cerf Rouge, we imagine our beautiful stag being out under the stars, at the end of the day, when the pinky twilight of the sun is still just about squeezing through the forest trees. On the first floor, next to La Maison des Oiseaux, Le Cerf Rouge's double doors lead to the large shared balcony overlooking the driveway.

Le Château
Le Château is pure mountain fantasy, where Tyrolean architecture and Rosy-cheeked village folk come together. The copper and nickel bathtub is perfect for pampering and the double-basin antique washstand adds to the quirky and timeless feel. On the first floor, overlooking the garden, It feels incredible to look left out of the double doors and see Mont Blanc in all its majesty.
